Mr. Trump is responsible for the day to day operation and management of ADH's office located
in Arcata, California. He has over 17 years of experience as an environmental scientist
performing water quality, sediment dredge reuse/disposal, and biological monitoring programs. His
water quality experience includes both support and lead roles for numerous National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase I and II storm water and municipal waste water
monitoring programs carried out at federal, state and local government agencies, and industrial
facilities.
As a biologist, Mr. Trump has led field sampling investigations for subtidal and intertidal
benthic community analysis; near shore fish and invertebrate and intertidal invertebrate
bioaccumulation; and freshwater macroinvertebrate and fish community analysis. He has field and
laboratory experience in the taxonomic identification of marine fish from California, Alaska and
Nigeria, and of marine benthic invertebrates (crustaceans and mollusks) from California and
Alaska, and has been responsible for the maintenance of fish and invertebrate voucher
collections.
Mr. Trump also has extensive experience in sediment coring projects throughout coastal and inland
California. As a consultant, he has provided technical expertise to clients ensuring regulatory
compliance to federal EPA, and State Water Resources Control Board criteria, and has participated
in Stakeholder discussion groups. As a project manager, he has been responsible for ensuring
successful execution of various monitoring projects including: primary client contact;
development of sampling and analysis plans; planning, coordination and supervising execution of
field monitoring activities; laboratory coordination and interaction; quality assurance and
quality control data review and interpretation; assessing storm water environmental indicators;
and, writing technical data monitoring reports.
Mr. Trump has extensive experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of water
quality samplers, flow meters, field meters, and data loggers at various types of monitoring
sites including those assessing effectiveness of numerous types of BMP treatment devices. Prior
to joining ADH, Mr. Trump was a biological/environmental scientist with Kinnetic Laboratories,
Inc. from 1993 until 2007, where he managed and participated in numerous storm water, sediment,
biological monitoring projects, and watershed assessments for total maximum daily load (TMDL)
studies.
