Mr. Wilde has over 29 years experience within the environmental consulting industry as a data
analyst, programmer and computer systems administrator, instrumentation developer, and field
scientist. Prior to joining ADH, Mr. Wilde was a programmer, statistician, computer systems and
network administrator with Kinnetic Laboratories, Inc. from 1979 until 2006.
As a statistician/data analyst he has been responsible for performing extensive univariate and
multivariate statistical analysis of scientific data, including oceanographic, marine biological,
chemical, and ecological studies. In this capacity Mr. Wilde has developed statistical analysis
programs, designed sampling programs, critiqued experimental results, and served as an in-house
statistical consultant for other staff scientists.
As a scientific applications programmer and instrumentation developer, he has designed and
implemented user interfaces for internal software systems use and for sale to clients, created
programs for Campbell Scientific CR-10 Data loggers, interfaced sensor and other
manufacturers' data loggers for automated storm water sampling systems, developed and
augmented time series analysis software.
Mr. Wilde has extensive experience as a marine scientist performing physical oceanographic and
biological studies where he has been responsible for interfacing sensors, recorders, and
computers using many different hardware protocols.
As a computer systems administrator Mr. Wilde has been responsible for the maintenance and
upgrading of small, privately owned environmental research firms specializing in oceanographic,
biological, ecological, and analytical chemistry studies using local area networks (LAN), office
computer systems, and field computers.
As a field scientist, Mr. Wilde has been involved in numerous offshore and bay and estuarine
studies on vessels, working as a deck hand, hardware troubleshooter, and onboard technical
expert.
