Matthew L. Bromley, P.G. - Principal Geologist



Mr. Bromley is a California Professional Geologist with more than 24 years of experience working in the environmental engineering field. In addition, his geotechnical experience includes investigation and/or design for building foundations, landslides, dams, levees, excavations, and engineered slopes. He has broad practice in managing site investigation, remediation, and closure of RCRA facilities, municipal and industrial hazardous waste landfills and surface impoundments, and leaking underground fuel storage tank sites. He has managed and performed CERCLA and National Contingency Plan compliant litigation support projects, real estate transaction investigations, and characterization and planning in order to keep construction moving where contamination was discovered.

Mr. Bromley is a hands-on technical manager skilled in database design and management, programming and running physical and chemical hydrologic models, GIS, and applied statistics. In addition to his technical expertise, he is also experienced in preparation and implementation of CERCLA community relations plans including public notices, press releases, fact sheets, public interviews, establishment of document repository and community relations hotline, as well as public presentations and meetings. Above all, Mr. Bromley is a persuasive technical writer and advocate as well as a solid contract manager.
