Facility and Regulations Review: Review existing Environmental Site Assessments and other relevant documentation, as well as perform independent research on applicable federal/state/provincial storm water-related regulations or guidelines for each facility, including those for the states of Arizona, California, Illinois, South Carolina, and Texas, and the provinces of British Columbia and Ontario.

Site Inspections: Conduct site visits at each facility for the following tasks: introductory guided tours of each facility; independent walk-through inspections and photo documentation at each facility; thorough evaluations of existing BMPs; identification of additional BMPs requiring implementation; investigations of potential storm water runoff influences from adjacent properties; and concise debriefings with facility environmental program directors.

Reporting: Prepare or update site-specific SWPPPs for each facility. Ensure that each SWPPP is thorough in its site evaluations and recommendations regarding existing or lacking BMPs. Emphasis is also put on clearly conveying the regulatory basis and rational for the document, and on its readability so that it will be a valuable resource for all facility staff members.
