Mr. Geddes has over 16 years of professional experience as an engineering geologist in the
central and northern California. He has developed a wide range of skills in engineering geology,
geotechnical engineering, drainage and surface water control, erosion control, environmental
investigations and remediation, and onsite construction observation and testing. Mr. Geddes has
conducted and/or participated in the investigation, design, and construction of projects
including small residential additions, large housing developments, small and large roadway
reconstructions, large multi-story commercial and retail buildings, multi-story academic
buildings, hospitals, fire and police stations and scholastic facilities.
He has been responsible for consultation with other design professionals of various disciplines
and is adept in negotiations with project owners, contractors, and regulatory agencies to insure
the success of the project. His responsibilities have also included on-site construction
observation, inspection, testing, and "trouble-shooting".
Mr. Geddes has extensive experience with design and construction issues, testing results, and
observations performed at various small and large scale project sites. He has been responsible
for the organization, preparation, and presentation of reports, technical memoranda, and
graphical (technical drawing and images) documenting ongoing investigations and construction
projects.
