Bolsa Chica Wetlands Restoration Project Field Data Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Client: Kinnetic Laboratories, Inc.

Project Description: The Bolsa Chica Lowlands Project proposes acquisition of lowland properties by the California State Lands Commission, the restoration of these lowlands as wetlands and habitat areas, and the long-term operation, maintenance, monitoring and management of these areas. Dredging of the interior portions of the lowlands, removal of selected dykes and berms and possible recontouring will be required according to an engineering design now underway.

Tasks: Review and revise over 400 field logs of core samples by comparing Kinnetic Laboratory's staff field samples to field descriptions for quality control, provided accurate and consistent conformance with the Unified Soil Classification System.
